Visa to Cambodia

Most countries, except the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia requires visa to enter the kingdom of Cambodia. Visa-on-arrival is available at Siem Reap airport, however passport holders of the some countries (Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, and Sudan) must obtain visa and have a sponsor letter or invitation from Cambodian entities may it be an organization, travel agent or company, before being allowed to enter the kingdom.

Cambodia’s E-Visa is a good example on how Tourist Visa (Type T) and Business Visa (Type E) can be obtained quickly and efficiently.  30-day Type T visa cost US$ 20, while Type E visa cost US$ 25.  Due to many e-Visa fraud recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) have made an official statement warning unassuming tourists who are planning to travel to Cambodia to issue their visa directly from the MFA’s official website.
